ANDES — Throngs of supporters gathered in East Meredith Saturday night for Part Two of Anthony Chase’s,show “Patina” with Hawk,+ Hive Gallery. The showopened with a traditional,reception at Hawk + Hivein Andes on August 3rd and,continued with an open studio,party at Chase’s newly,renovated studio and cathedral-like barn showcasing,eleven larger format paintings. It was quite the joyous,occasion complete with friends, collectors and fellow artists all vying to congratulate the artist, a delectable feast lovingly prepared by his wife Nini Ordoubadi and friends, and a DJ pumping beats in the barn. But the real showstopper was Chase’s stunning paintings.
